20000 per annum

The Role:

To prepare and deliver recipes as required in conformity to the Companies high standards and demonstrates a commitment to quality, maintaining a clean, orderly and sanitised kitchen, encompassing all food hygiene and safety standards.

Key duties:

Cook consistently and enthusiastically to a high standard

Follow the daily preparation list as requested by senior chefs

Assist the Sous Chef in planning and support of daily service and ordering

Cooking and preparation for each service, staff meals and all general duties assigned by the Head Chef and Sous Chef

Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen environment to conform to health and safety instruction of designated section

Ensure all food is treated an labeled correctly in daily use and section

Keep control of your responsible section and report orders for food and nonfood to the Sous Chef

Manage and supervise the commis chefs

Assist in performing stock checks are performed on a monthly basis

Ensure sufficient inventory/stock levels of their department are maintained and orders are placed in sufficient time and necessary quantities based on expected sales

Ensure that deliveries are matched to purchase orders and goods are of sufficient and necessary quality.

Maintain all the cleanliness standards required of them as per HASAP and make sure their subordinates are also dressed accordingly

Perform additional responsibilities as may be requested by the Head Chef and Sous Chef at any time.

Specialist Skills/Special Aptitudes/Qualities:

Minimum 2 years work experience

Skills in preparation and presentation of baked good are also important

Food Hygiene Level 2

Salary: £20,000.00 to £21,500.00 /year
